Arts & Environment
The Arts and Environment group is responsible for planning and decorating the worship environment throughout the various liturgical seasons.
The group is responsible for working with the pastor and other celebrants to ensure that the church environment supports full participation in the liturgy.
The two major events of the liturgical year—Christmas and Triduum—require significant advance planning. Feast days, Advent, and Lent also require attention to detail.
We are particularly enthusiastic about welcoming individuals with a creative flair who are interested in sharing their skills in flower arrangement and providing floral decorations from their gardens. We also appreciate unique value of parishioners who are comfortable on ladders during Christmas and Triduum.
Innovative thinking is always welcome, and we invite individuals with an artistic inclination to contribute new ideas to keep the celebration of Liturgy fresh and accessible to the congregation.
Working on the Arts and Environment Ministry is not just a duty but a joyous opportunity to contribute to our congregation's spiritual journey. This work offers a unique sense of fulfillment and a deepening connection to the Liturgy.
Please consider joining us for a feast day, a season, or the entire liturgical calendar.
