Frank Schapfel Receives the Cheverus medal

Celebrating the contributions of a dedicated sacred heart parishioner

Archbishop Richard Henning presented Frank Schapfel and other recipients with the Cheverus Medal at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross last Sunday.

Frank was nominated by Fr. Fran, who recognized his extended service as a leader who accomplishes praiseworthy work without calling attention to himself. He is appreciated for his collaboration skills, ability to diffuse conflicts, and the enthusiasm he inspires.

Frank truly lives out his baptismal call to love and serve God by loving and serving others.
