Engage in

the process of discernment

this sunday after mass

Fr. Fran will lead the discernment process at Hospitality on December 9th.

Fr. Fran will lead the discussion and is open to questions about how we will be functioning as a parish if Laudato Si’ becomes a defining force in our future.

To learn more about how this is typically done, please refer to the Vatican's proposed platform.

If you have specific questions for Fr. Fran or other parishioners, please feel free to bring them to the meeting.

THANK YOU FOR HELPING FEED THE HUNGRY

Sacred Heart delivery “crew” after morning Mass with Rev Anthony Nweke, CSSP, Associate Pastor of St. Katherine Drexel Parish, and other parishioners of SKD.

The Community Services Committee thanks Sacred Heart parishioners for your generous donation to the Annual Turkey Drive for the Saint Katherine Drexel (SKD) food pantries in Roxbury and Dorchester.  With donations of money and gift cards, Sacred Heart collected $5,940, which purchased 65 Turkeys, 55 chickens, and 185 / $25 gift cards.  These were delivered to the food pantries two days before Thanksgiving.

The Committee thanks everyone who donated.  As a small parish, we lifted way above our “weight class.” It was truly a community effort by all.  THANK YOU!
